Now that our tropical excursion/performance-boot-camp trip to California is over, the American Chamber Opera is back in the rehearsal room!  We begin music rehearsals for Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” at the end of this week, and we’re all biting at the bit to get started!

But what, praytell, would our group be without a leader?  ACO would like to proudly announce that we have brought a friend and skilled conductor on board for future performances of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” and Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.”

Did it Snow in Chicago……?

Posted by:

…..Because the American Chamber Opera Company is in Dana Point, California!

Flying out only hours before a massive snowstorm in our home base of Chicago, IL, a portion of our artistic talent and administration graced the runway of LAX in the wee hours of the morning to take the west coast opera community by storm!  Most of us didn’t sleep.   But it was, without question, worth it.

Au Revoir, La Bohème, e bravissimi tutti!

So ends the innovative run of the dazzling American Chamber Opera’s English interpretation of  La Bohème.  We, as a company and a family, would like to thank any and all patrons and participants, big and small, for being a part of our effort and our joy in music.

Une grande announcement!  The American Chamber Opera is headed west!  This coming January 12, the lot of us will be flying to California for a performing and fundraising for charity extravaganza!  We hope to ...

Just a reminder, our next performance of  La Bohème will be held at Second Presbyterian Church on January 6, 2012!  Check out our website for ticket information.  Tell your friends!  Tell your family!  Tell your coworker you vaguely know from three cubicles ...

PianoForte describes ...

Our second performance is sneaking up, and promises to be just as amazing as the first!   La Bohème, round deux will be ...
